We live in a world of self-promotion. It is everywhere. It is the way the world works. It is what the world rewards. Yet, in the Kingdom of God, self-promotion brings humbling, humility brings honor. There may not be a greater place where the Kingdom of God and the world system clash than on these ideas of humility vs self-promotion.
