If you have a fitness ministry at your church or you find yourself back “in the gym” here at the first of the year with many other good intentioned people you’ll likely find two extremes: • those barely going through the motions: they’re on their phones too much or not doing enough vigorous or challenging exercise to make any difference. • those who are doing too much: they’re there five days a week and lifting way too heavy AND getting hurt in the process. I just updated the Faith & Fitness Magazine article titled, Worship & Exercise Combined: Adapt To God’s Spirit. I added the attached graphic talking about the latest better approach to “Training To Failure” AND it provides a real clear spiritual/Bible application. I hope you’ll share this article with members in your gym or among those who are doing sports specific training with you, not just because it’s good science, but more importantly because it shows once again that before the foundations of the earth, before our latest research and understanding, God has already laid out a perfect plan, a better way. It gives us the ability to celebrate with those we serve that God‘s grace is sufficient. https://faithandfitness.net/worship-exercise-combined-adapt-to-gods-spirit/
