Today, Bob, Schindler and M. L. Woodruff came and spoke to our church Sports Ministry leaders along with over 70 other sports ministry leaders from Central Florida. We at Discovery Church Sand Lake in Orlando were very blessed to learn from both of them more about integrating Christianity into sports. We were challenged to remember Mark 6:41 that in order for God to do something great for us, we need him to work in us *first. My prayer is that all of us as leaders in various sports ministries will remember that “the Gospel is the redemptive story God has been telling us since the beginning of time, rooted in history, with Jesus Christ as the redeeming hero..’ Yes, and Amen?!
