Brokenness of Sport, Brokenness in People!!! We in the business of Redeeming Sport through our call to share the Gospel, share the love of Christ and create disciples. This is why there is such a need of Good Gospel Centered Sports Ministry. Stuff like this in the video happens way too often across all sports. Broken coaches are teaching players broken ways to handle situations. This one hits different for me as I pitched most of my life. I have been upset many times at umps that missed calls, called bad games, were inconsistent and even times where I thought he was biased. I was not a Christian when I was pitched but this never crossed my mind. If a coach came to the mound and told us to do this, I would step up and say NO and if he still pushed, I would say take me out then. Plain and simple, I would not have been able to look at my parents in the eyes afterwards if I did what he wanted. Yes what the coach advised them to do is bottom. From Parents to players to coaches to umpires to volunteers to... What are your thoughts on all of this? How would you handle this if it happened in your ministry?
