Would like to ask for prayer for our church, youth ministry and our youth pastor. Sunday night one of our youth died from an accidental discharge of a firearm. The parents are both agnostic but the young man has been on fire for the Lord. He made a decision to follow the Lord a year ago. God has been working through this tragedy on the parents. They have made comments about how great our church has been and that is really the only sense of community they have felt here. Also several parents have talked with them and they have talked about grace and God’s love. Last night our youth just had time to share and pray and before that our youth pastor called them to check in. Before the call ended he prayed and then they asked if they could pray for him!! Appreciate the prayers for our church, youth group and Micah, our youth pastor.
