"Take your own sweet time" - Southern Term for this Week. "Take your own sweet time" means you're taking too long. It sounds very polite but it means that someone is doing something as slowly as they feel like, even though everyone else wants them to hurry up. It's mostly used sarcastically. Sports Ministry Usage: “Take you sweet time with that Bob.” Means, in a polite way, that the Southern hearer is at the point of not caring anymore and if the Sports Minister ever does anything it will be too late. Ephesians 5:15-17 says, “So, then, be careful how you live. Do not be unwise but wise, making the best use of your time because the times are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
