On Monday and Tuesday of this week, I had the privilege of asking coaches from ROAR - the sports ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, SC - Does God Care Who Wins? at their two nights of Coach Development. As I talked with these coaches, I realized I have been involved with ROAR since I started with CEDE in 2004. For 19 years, I have been meeting with ROAR Directors, Assistant Directors, Admins, and Westminster Staff. Besides illustrating that I am old, this 19 year involvement demonstrates the desire we have at CEDE to build long-term relationships with churches in their development of gospel centered sports, rec, and fitness ministries. We consider it an honor to come alongside the local church and serve her and her mission.
